Which of your data are processed by us? And for what purposes?

We process the data that you have sent us in connection with your registration and/or entered data in the participant lists in order to enable your personal participation in a Novocure event or to contact you for further events. Furthermore, photos and/or video recordings may be made during events. We will point this out separately before the start of an event. These recordings will be used by our office for public relations in connection with the production of reference and/or marketing materials. If you do not agree to this processing, please contact us in order to make your recording unrecognizable by pixelation. Furthermore, we collect your data that you have given Novocure for further processing in connection with an initial contact (trade fair, further education, roundtable, etc.).

What is the legal basis for this?

The legal basis for the processing of your personal data in this context of Art. 6 GDPR in the version valid from 28.05.2018.

How long will the data be stored?

Your data will be stored for 5 years for audit purposes in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lt.c GDPR and deleted afterwards.

To which recipients will the data be forwarded?

Your data will only be passed on to third parties to the extent that we need to use it to fulfill our contractual obligations to you.

Where is the data processed?

The data is processed on servers in the USA on the basis of EU standard clause contracts.
